Frequently asked

Is it really free?
Yes. Upload up to 2 files, generate the link, share it. No signup, no trial that expires, no credit card. We want people to try Dentra with no barriers.
What happens when the link expires?
After 7 days the link stops working and files are deleted from our servers. There's no way to recover them — if you need a longer link, upgrade to Dentra Viewer PRO.
Who can open the link I generate?
Anyone with the URL. The link contains a random 24-character token impossible to guess, so until you share it openly it's private. If you post it on social media it becomes public.
Can I use it from phone or tablet?
Yes. The 3D viewer works natively on iPhone, iPad, Android and any modern browser. Upload also accepts files from the camera roll or the phone's Files app.
Are my files safe?
HTTPS-encrypted transport, storage on European servers, automatic deletion at expiry, no marketing trackers. For advanced clinical use (DPA, audit log, retention) sign up for a Dentra account with full enterprise controls.
Can I download files after creating the link?
Not in the free version: whoever receives the link sees the 3D model but doesn't download the original file. With Dentra Viewer PRO you can enable download per link — useful when you want the dentist/colleague to also receive the actual CAD file.
Can I password-protect a link?
Only with Dentra Viewer PRO. The free anonymous version doesn't support passwords. With Dentra Viewer PRO (€10/month) you set passwords for sensitive links (specific teeth, recognizable clinical cases).
How much is Dentra Viewer PRO?
€10 per month. Includes 10 GB storage, files up to 250 MB, permanent links, link passwords, optional download, link history from the dashboard, integration with lab orders and invoices. Activation happens from your account area after signup.
